“Melrose Place” actress Heather Locklear was arrested Sunday night for alleged domestic violence and assaulting police officers.
According to TMZ, the cops responded to a call by her brother, who found Locklear fighting with her boyfriend at her house in Thousand Oaks, California. When law enforcement arrived, they found the couple still arguing. And Locklear’s boyfriend apparently had a mark on his face.
According to police, Locklear resisted their attempts to take her to the station. It hasn’t been confirmed whether she was under the influence. When officers approached Locklear, however, she “became combative, flailing, kicking and struck 3 deputies,” according to TMZ. She was promptly put under arrest and taken to the hospital. It’s unclear whether Locklear was also harmed in the incident.
Locklear is planning on posting bail, but this won’t be her first run-in with the law. She’s been arrested previously for driving under the influence, hospitalized for crashing her car, and has struggled extensively with addiction and substance abuse.
