A North Carolina couple decided to hold their “heart-meltingly romantic” wedding at a Whole Foods supermarket on Feb. 24.

Ross Aronson and Jaqueline Troutmant chose Whole Foods as their wedding spot because of its special meaning to them, reported the New York Post. The foodie couple would often hit the aisles looking for food at the New York City Whole Foods when they were first dating. Even when Aronson decided it was time to propose, he chose the upscale supermarket in Chapel Hill.

The couple first admitted that the thought of having their wedding at a grocery store seemed crazy, but soon changed their minds.

“We loved the idea of having an important life milestone happen in a place we constantly go,” Troutmant told TODAY Food. “We know we will be back time and time again, and regardless of the occasion that brings us there, it has no choice but to be special. It will always remind us of an incredible day and significant moment when we made our lifelong commitment to one another.”

The wedding took place in the florist department with food-related puns like “dairy-tale wedding” and “cantaloup anymore” placed throughout the supermarket. The happy couple posed for a romantic picture in an aisle selling chips, according to a post on the bride’s Facebook page.

The wedding celebrations continued with a dinner at the Aronson’s home Saturday evening.

This was Whole Foods first wedding.
