A woman and several accomplices stole thousands of dollars worth of merchandise at a Chicago Victoria’s Secret, police said Thursday.
Latasha Garret, 25, is accused of stealing $2,300 from the popular lingerie brand at the Bloomingdale location, reported the New York Post. Garret used several accomplices to help her pull off the theft Wednesday. The burglar managed to drive away from the store before she was pulled over by police 30 minutes later, according to a statement by the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office.
The shoplifter stole the items from the Stratford Square Mall, tweeted the DuPage County State’s Attorney Office.

Police charged Garret with one count of burglary, reported the Chicago Sun-Times. The young woman then appeared in court Thursday morning. She was then released on a $30,000 recognizance bond Thursday afternoon and will reappear at court April 16.

The investigation is ongoing and police are currently trying to find Garret’s accomplices, added Patch.com.
