Trump Jokes About Becoming ‘President For Life’ In Private Dinner

President Trump joked about becoming president for life at a private event with Republican donors in Mar-a-Lago Saturday.

“Maybe we’ll have to give that a shot someday,” he can be heard saying.

WATCH:

“Don’t forget China is great and Xi is a great gentleman. He’s now President for life. President for life. No, he’s great. And look, he was able to do that. I think it’s great. Maybe we’ll have to give that a shot someday.”

Trump also spoke in Washington, D.C. Saturday evening at the Gridiron Club Dinner, an event attended by many journalists.

According to CNN, Trump cracked jokes about many in his cabinet as well as the media.
