House minority leader Nancy Pelosi said Friday that she eats “nails for breakfast” to fight for the Democratic party’s policies.

“My motivation is one in five children in America lives in poverty. I can’t handle it. I just can’t handle it.”
“So every day I eat nails for breakfast, don a suit of armor to go out there and fight for the kids, because that is about everything, that is about the future,” she said, according to the Free Beacon. (RELATED: Nancy Pelosi Losing Control Of House Democrats)
Pelosi isn’t the only Democratic politician to make some wacky statements from time to time.
Last month, video emerged of Sen. Elizabeth Warren bragging about marching “in pink pussy hats.”
