I recently stumbled across the trailer for Netflix’s new movie “Legacy of Whitetail Deer Hunter,” and it looks like it could be a hit.
Danny McBride and Josh Brolin both star in the movie, which means that fans should be in for a hell of a good time in this dark comedy.
The plot of the film, according to the YouTube description, is, “Buck Ferguson (Josh Brolin), famous for hunting whitetail deer, plans a special episode of his hunting show around a bonding weekend with his estranged son, Jaden (Montana Jordan). With trusted – but hapless – cameraman and friend Don (Danny McBride) in tow, Buck sets out for what soon becomes an unexpectedly epic adventure of father-son reconnection in the great outdoors.”
I love the look of this movie. It appears that McBride is taking on a pretty serious role, and that’ll be fun to watch for an audience that’s used to him being Kenny Powers.
Josh Brolin is also one of the best actors in the game. I really do think the whole formula for this movie looks great. Hopefully it doesn’t disappoint when it’s released July 6.
