The United States Navy recently declassified footage of two pilots encountering an unidentified flying object traveling at extremely high speeds over the Atlantic Ocean back in 2015.

“Whoa! Got it,” one pilot can be heard saying after capturing the UFO via an infrared sensor.

“What the fuck is that thing?” the second pilot asks. “Did you box a moving target? Oh my gosh, dude!”

The video was published by the To The Stars Academy of Arts & Science, a private media group.

The video’s description explains that “footage was captured by a U.S. Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet using the Raytheon ATFLIR Pod that was being operated by a highly trained aerial observer and weapons system operator whom the government has spent millions of dollars to train.”

According to Christopher Mellon, a former Clinton and W. Bush-era deputy assistant secretary of defense for intelligence, the incident is a the third video the Navy has declassified in recent months of pilots encountering UFOs.

“The videos, along with observations by pilots and radar operators, appear to provide evidence of the existence of aircraft far superior to anything possessed by the United States or its allies,” Mellon wrote in The Washington Post. “Defense Department officials who analyze the relevant intelligence confirm more than a dozen such incidents off the East Coast alone since 2015.”
