MSNBC host Joe Scarborough mocked 2018’s best picture winner, “The Shape of Water,” Wednesday and said he’s tired of people telling him to watch it.

Co-host Willie Geist joked with Scarborough about going to the movies, prompting Scarborough’s bizarre commentary about fish sex.

“Speaking of the movies I haven’t seen you in person since the Academy Awards. You know I won an Academy Award,” Scarborough said. “I was that fish the lady had sex with.”

“Oh my God. Welcome to Morning Joe,” co-host Mika Brzezinski said.

“Do you think I’m going to watch that,” Scarborough continued. “I don’t want people telling me that I need to watch that.”

“I think it was a love story,” Geist shot back. “It wasn’t just about the sex, Joe.” “You could have fooled me,” Scarborough replied.
