I recently put out a poll asking if people would rather be kind of rich and super famous or super rich but anonymous. The results were overwhelming.

A total of 1,000 people voted in the poll and a stunning 97 percent of people took the $50 million and anonymity over being famous with $10 million in the bank.

I’m stunned that the pull worked out this way. Absolutely shocked. I thought there were way more vain and narcissistic people in this world than three percent of the people in this poll. Again, this wasn’t a poll between being poor and wealthy. You still have money with the famous option, just not as much.

I thought this poll would pretty much end up being 50/50. Turns out that there are way more people in this country with their heads properly screwed on than I thought. It’s good to see that there are still plenty of people left with common sense who care more about the future of generations to follow.

There’s no doubt I was prepared to be totally disappointed by this poll, but I wasn’t. Sometimes life just throws you the craziest curveballs.
