Longtime QB Josh McCown surprised the world this offseason when he signed on for a $10 million contract with the New York Jets this month. But it was how and where he signed it that’s getting the most attention.

“No better time to sign a deal with @nyjets then waiting on some @ChickfilA,” the QB wrote on Twitter.

McCown reportedly inked his new contract with the Jets in a Chick-Fil-A drive-through in Texas with his son, Aiden.

This has got to be one of the better ways to sign an NFL contract. McCown’s been in the league for a while now. He’s coming up on his 16th year as a pro. So he’s gotta be pretty tired of all those lame photographs of new players signing contracts with their coaches and crew, wearing their stupid little hats and their big smiles. This is what separates the boys from the men. Men sign their contracts in drive-throughs. Boys sign them in front of a press pool and brag about it on Instagram for days.
