Arizona State football coach Herm Edwards went for a ride in a fighter jet over the weekend, and the video is awesome.
Edwards, who is in his first year as the head coach of the Sun Devils, flew with the Blue Angels, and had a GoPro along for the whole ride.
You’re going to want to see this.

It’s still way too early to tell if Edwards will be a success or not at the college level. The jury is still out on that, and is a couple years away from returning with a verdict.
However, I’ve been saying since the beginning that this would be incredibly entertaining, and so far he has no disappointed. How many other coaches are spending the offseason in fighter jets? None come to my mind when I think about other possibilities.
I have no idea why Edwards is spending time in a fighter jet instead of a doing football related activities. It doesn’t seem like the best way to spend your time if you’re trying to win a championship. But then again, what do I know? I’ve only won about a hundred titles on NCAA football.
