Prospective Top NFL Pick Saquon Barkley Is Expecting His First Child

Being one of the probable top NFL draft picks isn’t the only thing Saquon Barkley has going for him this year.

Anna Congdon, Barkley’s girlfriend of one year, revealed the couple is expecting their first child together this spring.

Congdon announced they were expecting on Sunday night. “One month until @saquon and i get to meet our little angel,” she posted on Instagram.

The two reportedly celebrated their baby-to-be with a baby shower over the weekend. Barkley’s younger sister Aliyah also attended the shower.

“Can’t wait for my Niece or Nephew to be here,” Barkley wrote on Instagram Sunday.

Congdon and Barkley, 21, are both Penn State alumni, and with the end of their academic career coming to a close, the two are looking ahead to Barkley’s NFL prospects. The running back is expected to be picked first or second overall, likely by either the Cleveland Browns or the New York Giants.

The NFL draft takes place this April 26-28.
