NFL broadcaster Rich Eisen believes that football legend Peyton Manning is worth $10 million in the broadcasting booth for a company.

The $10 million number has been rumored for some time now, and Eisen is a huge supporter of Manning getting paid.

“Every penny,” Eisen responded when asked by TMZ Sports if Manning is worth $10 million in the booth.

I’m extremely inclined to agree with Eisen here. Manning wasn’t just a rare talent on the field, but his charisma and personality are second to none. There’s a reason his commercials are way higher profile than any other quarterback. Plenty of quarterbacks are outstanding players and have a little bit of the ability necessary off of the field, but it’s a rarity to find what Manning can do.

Peyton Manning is football royalty, and there’s no doubt in my mind that he’ll be outstanding in the booth. I’d even be willing to pay him more than $10 million. Look at how Tony Romo blew up the commentating this year for CBS, and he’s not even close to being in the same tier as Manning.

Somebody is going to pay the man, and it should be gold.
