Johnny Manziel reportedly had an extremely strong showing in front of NFL scouts at the University of San Diego’s pro day.
Manziel threw a total of 38 passes in light rain, and only missed two throws, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

He did look outstanding in the film footage from the event. His balls looked like they had some serious velocity and accuracy on them.

I’m honestly shocked that Manziel looks this solid after taking two years off from football. The Texas A&M Heisman winner doesn’t look like he has missed any time from football. I love the zip he’s showing on his throws.
I’m going to make a really bold prediction right now. After seeing these videos, I think Manziel will be with an NFL team by week one. The quarterback market isn’t exactly flush with talent right now, which only helps Manziel’s chances.
This comeback is awesome, and I’m now more confident than every.
