President Donald Trump warned former Vice President Joe Biden against threatening him with physical violence Thursday morning.

“Crazy Joe Biden is trying to act like a tough guy,” Trump tweeted, “He is weak, both mentally and physically, and yet he threatens me, for the second time, with physical assault. He doesn’t know me, but he would go down fast and hard, crying all the way. Don’t threaten people Joe!”

“If we were in high school, I’d take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him,” Biden said Wednesday in response to some of the comments the president has made about women, specifically the so-called “locker room talk” in the infamous Access Hollywood tape.

“I’ve been in a lot of locker rooms my whole life. I’m a pretty damn good athlete,” Biden told a crowd of listeners. “Any guy that talked that way was usually the fattest, ugliest S.O.B. in the room.”

This is not the first time Biden has made this kind of threat.

“I wish we were in high school — I could take him behind the gym. That’s what I wish,” the former vice president said at a rally for Hillary Clinton in Pennsylvania in 2016.

Trump returned fire at the recent Gridiron Dinner. “You know when he said, ‘I’m going to take you behind the barn’? Oh, just trust me, I would kick his ass. He’d be easy,” the president said, “But, Joe, gimme a break. A guy who keeps making outrageous statements thinks he has a shot of being president?”
