White House counselor Kellyanne Conway took on Chris Cuomo Friday over the Trump tax cuts.

“You may call it crumbs,” she told the CNN host. “I don’t.”

“You don’t want to talk about the tax cuts,” Conway said.

“Of course I want to talk about it,” Cuomo countered.

“4.5 million Americans have benefited directly from bonuses, from raises — that doesn’t even scratch the surface of all the capital investment that they have committed to their communities here,” she continued.

“A lot of companies like the fact that you gave them more money. What they do with that money, we will see,” Cuomo shot back. “You’ve seen what they’ve done with that money, people’s paychecks are fatter.”

“We’ve seen what some have done with some of the money,” he continued. “And we know that people are getting more money in their paychecks, but we also know that it’s very unequally distributed. And the top does a lot better than the middle class that were promised that this cut would be them.” (RELATED: Ted Cruz Reminds Chris Cuomo Of Obama Administration’s Blunders That Led To Mass Shootings)

Conway responded by dropping the hammer.

“Some may call it crumbs. Other people look at it as real bread and real money.”

“I have never said the word crumbs, money matters to people,” Cuomo responded. “They just could have gotten more of it if the policy was directed towards them.”
