As we inch closer and closer to next month’s NFL draft, quarterback-needy teams are beginning to jockey for position on the draft board to get “their guy.” But, unlike most years, when checking out the numerous mock drafts and scouting reports made available, there doesn’t seem to be a clear-cut favorite as to which quarterback will be selected first.

TMZ caught up with Hall of Fame quarterback Troy Aikman to see if he could clear up this whole quarterback talent evaluation dilemma, and the 3-time Super Bowl champion seems to favor UCLA’s Josh Rosen over USC’s Sam Darnold and Wyoming’s Josh Allen.

“I think Josh is a real talent”, Aikman said. “I watched him throw a few years ago at UCLA one summer when I was out here and he can throw as well as anybody I’ve ever seen. Smart guy.”

Despite Troy Aikman preferring Rosen over Darnold and Allen, he doesn’t believe any of them will be waiting very long to hear their names called.

“I think there are three guys who are capable of being #1, and I really believe the first three picks are going to be quarterbacks.”

Here’s the current 2018 NFL Draft order. Good luck, Cleveland. We all know you need it.
