‘Morning Joe’ Uses March For Our Lives To Plug Scarborough’s #Resist-Inspired Single, ‘Stand’

Joe Scarborough ended the 6:00 a.m. hour of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” broadcast Monday by recapping Saturday’s March For Our Lives in DC, complete with a video montage backed by his #resist-inspired single, “Stand.”

“A majority of Americans say they do support stronger gun safety laws to reduce violence,” Scarborough told the audience. “According to the latest Fox News poll, 91 percent of Americans support universal background checks on all gun buyers. 84 percent, according to the Fox News poll, favor requiring mental health checks. 72 percent in the Fox News poll support raising the legal age to buy all firearms to 21 years.”

“As we go to break with more images from over the weekend,” he continued. “We’ll show you people who stood up across the nation and said, enough is enough.”
