Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) has just one question for every Democrat in Congress. Responding to a prompt from Fox News host Martha McCallum, Graham asserted, “I hope every Democrat will be asked what you asked me: Do you support the repeal of the Second Amendment? Because I want every Democrat to answer that question.”

New York Times published an editorial penned by former Supreme court Justice John Paul Stevens, raising the question of Second Amendment appeal. In that article, Stevens suggested that gun control activists should be working to repeal the Second Amendment if they were truly looking for lasting change.

Graham also weighed in on Stevens, saying, “This is a very bad idea, I’m glad he’s retired. He’s got a right to his opinion just like every other American, but I’m up here to protect the 2nd Amendment, not repeal it. And I can’t wait to hear what Nancy Pelosi says, and every other liberal Democrat. See if they will stand with Justice Stevens or stand with the Constitution, I’m dying to know.”

McCallum appeared to agree that it was a reasonable question, noting, “They’ll be asked.”

Sen. Graham also offered one caveat to any Democrats who did agree with Justice Stevens: “Don’t run for Senate in South Carolina.”
