Hillary Clinton’s former communications director Jennifer Palmieri appeared on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight” Wednesday — and the discussion went totally off the rails.

“It’s not a sincere question.”

WATCH:

The Daily Caller co-founder asked, “Do you think the government should ever take guns from law-abiding people? That’s not a trick question, that’s a sincere question.”

“I think that there should be an assault weapons ban,” Palmieri said. “I don’t think people need to take their guns away, but I think there should be an assault weapons ban.”

Carlson said, “But people who own the guns…”

Palmieri said, “You are setting the conversation up to purposefully put me in a box that is not…that we don’t need to have…”
