Taylor Swift released another music video for her hit song “Delicate” on Spotify early Friday morning.

Swift already released a music video for this song two weeks ago, but this one is wildly more entertaining. You can watch the original version below.

The new version isn’t more entertaining because of production value. No, it’s way more entertaining because it’s just Swift singing into a vertical camera. The cockiness of the move is at level so high that you have no choice but to respect it.

Love it! Swift just essentially told the whole world that she’s so famous that she can release a music video of herself essentially singing into an iPhone, and people will still watch it. Who else could pull this off? Absolutely nobody. Most singers have to dump plenty of money and production value into a music video. Swift just grabs a camera and calls it a day. It’s even cockier than when Apple removed the headphone jack, and shrugged its shoulders when people complained.

Swift is America’s sweetheart in part because she can do whatever she wants and people will always love it. I’m not even considering the fact right now that she has yet to deny that I inspired some of her songs. We can always save that for another time.

I woke up today expecting a normal day of crushing content and slamming beers. Instead, the world got treated to Swift reminding us all why she’s the greatest. I love the cockiness, and I hope it never ends.
