Tiger Woods’ ex-wife Elin Nordegren is back in the news, and it involves an automobile — but don’t panic. Everybody’s cars seem to be intact.

Instead, Nordegren was just sentenced for driving close to 100 mph on a Florida interstate in February, where she was pulled over near Delray Beach. Police say a traffic aircraft clocked her driving a white 2015 Cadillac Escalade at 95 mph in a 65 mph zone.

Nordegren attended a hearing last month, where her attorney entered a plea of no contest. She was ordered to pay a $350 fine and go back to Driver Improvement School.

Which might just be the worst punishment of all. Don’t get me wrong, driving close to 100 mph on the highway in a densely populated area is not good. I’d never suggest it. But driver’s ed might just be one of the worst things a person can put him or herself through. It honestly might be more enjoyable to spend a night in the clink before going back to driver’s ed.
