On his show Tuesday, Smith fact-checked the president’s claim that Amazon was causing the U.S. Postal Service to lose money. Smith explained that the Postal Service does not operate with taxpayer dollars and also their numbers show that they make money by delivering Amazon packages.

“Morning Joe” was so thrilled that a Fox anchor fact-checked Trump that they played the entire clip from Smith’s show and said he should be knighted.

“Can we just… I wish, like, we had a queen that could knight people because, if so, I would want Shep Smith to be knighted,” Joe Scarborough said, as the hosts noted that he is an Ole Miss alum.

“Really quickly, here’s Shep Smith’s fact check,” Mika Brzezinski said with a smile as she introduced the clip.

After the fact check played, Scarborough said, “Shep does the Magnolia State proud.”

“Maybe the president might hear this because he saw it on Fox,” Brzezinksi concludd.
