Former First Lady Michelle Obama said Thursday that Hillary Clinton wasn’t the perfect presidential candidate — but that she was still more perfect than Donald Trump.

“What happened?” Obama asked her audience at the Simmons Leadership Conference in Boston, Massachusetts. “What’s going on inside of us where we’re still afraid to embrace a different vision of leadership?”

“The best qualified candidate in this last race was a woman, and she wasn’t perfect, but she was way more perfect than many of the alternatives,” she said as the audience began to laugh.

Hillary Clinton has repeatedly blamed others for her loss in the presidential election.

In March, Clinton insinuated Trump voters were racist, saying, “I won the places that are optimistic, diverse, dynamic, moving forward, and his whole campaign ‘Make America Great Again’ was looking backwards.”

“You know, you didn’t like black people getting rights, you don’t like women, you know, getting jobs, you don’t want to, you know, see that Indian-Americans are succeeding more than you are — whatever your problem is, I’m going to solve it.”(RELATED: ‘You Didn’t Like Black People Getting Rights…’ — Hillary’s Explanation For Why Trump Won Is Way Off)
