I’m hitting up the ballpark for the first time this season when the Washington Nationals play the Atlanta Braves.
There aren’t a ton of things I get amped for, but grabbing a few beers at the ballpark is certainly one of them. Why wouldn’t I be?
Now, I’m not a huge natural baseball fan. There’s next to no chance you’ll get me to sit down in front of a television for nine innings of baseball. It’s just not going to happen. I will casually watch it if it’s on in the background while chugging a few beers, but I’m not going out of my way.
I will hit up the park with a crew though. It’s a fun experience, and what America is all about.
Ever since moving to Washington D.C. to take over the internet, I have adopted the Nationals as my team. It’s been a fun ride and a lot of beers have been consumed in the process.
Well, it’s time to fire it back up tonight. We’re rolling seven deep, and I’m not sure there’s enough booze in the city to hold us down as we watch the Nats play the Braves. I don’t know if there’s laws about consumption of alcohol in public, but I certainly hope there aren’t tonight. It’s time to get wild, and kick off this season the right way.
