Democratic Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin poked fun at Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg Tuesday, asking him to share the name of the hotel he stayed at last night.

“I would probably not choose to do that publicly here.”

Durbin asked, “Mr. Zuckerberg, would you be comfortable sharing with us the name of the hotel you stayed in last night?”

“Uh…no,” Zuckerberg said, starting to laugh.

“If you’ve messaged this week this week, would you share with us the names of the people you’ve messaged?” the senator asked.

“Senator, no, I would probably not choose to do that publicly here,” Zuckerberg responded.

“I think that maybe what this is all about,” Durbin replied. “Your right to privacy. The limits of your right to privacy and how much you give away in modern America in the name of, quote, ‘connecting people around the world.'” (RELATED: Mark Zuckerberg Wants To Use Artificial Intelligence To Ban ‘Hate Speech’)
