It shouldn’t be a secret by now that Bella Thorne is one of the most overrated people in the entertainment industry.

She’s right up there with Cardi B, Kylie Jenner and The Weeknd. None of these people are compelling, interesting or charismatic. Yet, they have millions of followers on social media and everything they touch seems to turn to gold.

That’s quite literally the case for Bella Thorne, who recently revealed she makes about $65,000 for every Instagram post she shares.

The model-turned-actress, who has more than 17 million followers on the photo sharing site, recently revealed that she views the app as “100% a job to me.”

She also claims that she started out with “literally $200 in my bank account,” and skyrocketed from there. She says Instagram paid entirely for her house and credits all her success to social media.

On the one hand, I want to be happy for Bella Thorne. She made something out of nothing. But this type of celebrity is all too common in this day and age. Too many people are famous for pushing boundaries and wearing little to no clothing. And this is no different.

Whoever is sponsoring her Instagram posts should be ashamed of themselves. I can’t fully blame Bella for this because she knows how to rip the system. But the advertisers who are shelling out more $65,000 for a stupid photo from a half-talented millennial is downright moronic. And that’s the pure and simple truth.
