A weatherman in Michigan is receiving national attention this week after a video was posted of him giving a rather unorthodox forecast.
Garry Frank of Grand Rapids, MI was asked to give the fine people in the state their weekly outlook but the consistently cold and grey temperatures must have gotten the best of him. Because after what seems to be pretty constant nagging from his coworkers and viewers, Frank had enough.
So on Tuesday, Garry reassured his skeptical viewers and co-hosts that the weather would be “fine.”
“It’s gonna be fine. It’ll be fine. Could be worse. Has been worse,” he said. And then completely unprompted, he launches into a full-fledged meltdown. “Well because you guys are dragging me down,” he starts. “Every time I get done with the seven day you guys are like ‘Oh, gosh, uhhhh.’ Every time. Doesn’t matter what time I come on. 4:30, 5:30, 6:30, and then you expect me to be chipper for five straight hours. It’s miserable.”
You know, a lot of people have complained about 2018. They’ve said the 21st century is a tough time to be a human. But I’m gonna go ahead and disagree. This kind of viral content is what makes the world turn. We all remember David After Dentist. Charlie Bit My Finger. And now this guy. If Garry Frank doesn’t get a nice vacation in a warm sunny place after this, I’ll personally start an online campaign to pay for one myself. I’m serious. Garry Frank is a national treasure. Forget what the haters say.
