Joe Scarborough called former FBI Director James Comey’s new book a “strange way to seek justice” Monday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”

Scarborough said it was reckless of Comey to give public interviews and sell books if he wants “justice to be done” in regard to President Donald Trump.

“If he wants to unburden himself, should he not have waited,” Scarborough said. “If he wants justice to be done, would he want a key witness in one of his cases going around, being interviewed, selling books, talking about the color of the skin, of the target being orange, his hands being mid-sized, his — the moon — the lunar white patches around his eyes because of his tanning bed.”

“Again, for a guy who wants justice to be done to this president, that is a strange way to seek justice at this point in time,” Scarborough concluded.

These comments come just several months after Scarborough slammed Fox News for criticizing the FBI and said questioning the agency would undermine democracy.
