For some reason, not everybody was pumped about dragging themselves into work today. New York’s subways are flooding from torrential downpours. It’s also raining here in Washington, D.C. — I stepped in a puddle on my way to work and almost let it get me down. Almost.
But then I encountered an absolute gem of a video that seems to have surfaced this weekend, posted by Twitter user Zack Lasek. It took place in Iowa City, Iowa and seems to involve two citizens minding their own business at a local McDonald’s. (RELATED: TAKE 90 SECONDS OUT OF YOUR DAY TO WATCH THIS ELECTRIC BRAWL AT AN IHOP)

Hmm. Did I say “minding their own business?” Maybe that isn’t the proper terminology. These people are going to war with each other. They make the warriors of Sparta look soft.
And the best part of this entire interaction is that the McDonald’s worker seems to have been the instigator. Don’t believe me? Take another peep. It’s the one in the visor that tosses the first drink. Unfortunately there are no subtitles so you can’t decipher what may or may not have been said to her prior to the first toss but you can bet it was probably nasty.
It’s these kinds of brawls that I live for. Brawls in public spaces have always been a forte of mine. Whether they were in high school, iHop, or your run of the metro stop downtown. A good old fashioned brawl where men handle things like men is what makes this world go round.
