Conservative commentator Ann Coulter went after U.N. ambassador Nikki Haley on Twitter Tuesday.
Journalist Michael Tracey tweeted:
It’ll take a truly Herculean effort at this point to continue arguing that Putin surreptitiously controls U.S. foreign policy, but make no mistake — Democrats will try their mightiest

In response, Coulter said:
Better Putin than Nikki Haley. https://t.co/aHyCmIEuWj

Coulter has been a strong critic of military intervention in Syria. She strongly supported President Trump in the election, but has criticized him since becoming president over immigration and the strikes in Syria.
Earlier this month, Haley said, “The Russian regime whose hands are all covered in the blood of Syrian children cannot be ashamed by pictures of its victims.”
“We’ve tried that before. We must not overlook Russia and Iran’s role in enabling the Assad regime’s murderous destruction.” (RELATED: Nikki Haley: Russia Has Blood Of Syrian Children On Its Hands)
