CNN hosted a group of 23 Republican Trump supporters in Charleston, S.C., and asked them to share their thoughts on former FBI Director James Comey’s interview with ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos.

“In this living room, no evidence of any pity for Comey,” CNN’s Gary Tuchman said. After they were asked their opinion of Comey, members of the audience described him as “weak” and “thin-skinned.”

“He’s 6’8 tall but he’s a very little man,” said one observer. “I think he diminished the office of the FBI.”

“The head of the FBI doesn’t feel uncomfortable. It is not what I expect from a man,” said another woman in the crowd.

WATCH:

Comey called Trump “morally unfit” to serve as president. Most people in CNN’s audience were not pleased about this and questioned Comey’s standing.

“Who is he to say?” one voter asked. “Who is he to judge that?”

“Why isn’t he allowed to pass judgment? The former FBI director,” Tuchman asked.

“He was the top cop. And he had an opportunity to call Trump out and he didn’t,” another voter said. “If he really felt that Trump was unfit — morally unfit, he had an opportunity.”
