ABC News political director Rick Klein said on Monday that the Democratic National Committee’s lawsuit against the Trump campaign and Russia is just “sour grapes.”

During a Monday interview on AM970’s Joe Piscopo Show, Klein said, “this seems really late, I mean you’re a year and a half after the election.”
Klein insisted that the lawsuit only plays into the idea that the Democrats can’t get over the fact that Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 election.
“If anything this just seems like a distraction,” he continued. “Second, just from like a political perspective…Donald Trump has been saying for a year plus that this is all about sour grapes, this is all because you lost an election.”
“It’s going to take a long time to play out if it even proceeds,” he added. “I don’t know where it ends up legally but its hard to imagine this moving fast enough to be politically relevant.”
