President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump welcomed French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte, to the White House Tuesday morning for the French President’s first official state visit.

After the formal arrival ceremony, the two world leaders met in the Oval Office to discuss the strength of the Franco-American relationship.

A large group of reporters and photographers crowded into the office to capture the moment.

However, in the midst of their opening comments, Trump stopped his comments and proved how close the two world leaders really are.

“It’s a great honor to be here, we have a very special relationship,” Trump said before stopping and leaning over to Macron. “In fact I’ll get that little piece of dandruff off — we have to make him perfect.”

The room busted out laughing.

“He is perfect,” Trump continued. “It is really great to be with you and you are a special friend.”

After the moment, Macron politely said, “I want to thank President Trump and your country, your people, for this very warm welcome. It’s wonderful to reminisce. Indeed both of us just remind us how great our common history is and that each time we work together in order to protect the liberty and freedom and our peace.”
