Political commentator Tomi Lahren posted a video on Facebook denouncing celebrities like John Legend and Colin Kaepernick for their anti-cop rhetoric.

Known for her stark and loud opinions, Lahren made her stance clear on the war on police and putting “our officers at risk,” stating that two cops were ambushed last week because “the war on cops is real and it’s deadly.”

Her outburst warned celebrities like John Legend to never rely on the police if he needs help, ever, if he is going to put hate on the cops.

She mentioned crime in Chicago and the need for a large presence of armed forces, though the city though has not been considered the most dangerous city in the U.S. for at least a year.

Her response comes after John Legend tweeted his plea to end police brutality.

“What they forget to tell their millions of followers is that these officers of every race show up in the most dangerous communities not because they are great places to be but because it is their duty to protect people in these communities usually from each other,” Lahren exclaims. “So, show some respect.”

“I’m so sick of these celebrities that rely on police officers for security and protection when it benefits them, but then turn around and throw our officers under the bus all to stoke tension and demonize police,” she said.
