President Donald Trump’s first state dinner was Tuesday, and Melania Trump knocked it out of the ballpark.

From every item and detail, the first lady found a way to warmly welcome the French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron with elegant design and French cuisine.

The dinner was more intimate than in the past, with a smaller guest list than Barack and Michelle’s state dinners, who regularly invited A-listers and Hollywood superstars.

While stars like Blake Shelton, Chance the Rapper, Jerry Seinfeld and Rachael Ray made an appearance at some of the Obama’s dinners, the Trump family stuck to business people and government officials and left Democratic leaders in Congress off the guest list.

We can only imagine these celebrities were slightly hurt to not find their invitation to the prestigious event.

It may not be traditional, but Trump has never followed the beaten path in his career.

Look at the A-listers who didn’t make the cut for the state dinner.
