Political commentator Michelle Malkin believes it is important for America to embrace legitimate refugees seeking asylum, but also said it’s impossible to accommodate them all.

“We need a better vetting system for who actually is experiencing true persecution. Of course we want to make sure that we consider the legitimate asylum and refugee claims of people who have nowhere else to go,” Malkin said on “Fox & Friends” Monday. “But, you said it. Steve, perfectly. We have limits.”

“That’s the thing that’s been missing from the immigration system debate,” she continued. “Which is, we can’t take every last willing worker in the world who wants to work here for a dollar an hour. We have to have limits.”

Malkin cheered the Trump administration back in March for looking to include a citizenship question in the census and called Democrats hypocritical for trying to challenge the measure in court.

“Only in America does a country get sued for asking who is in it. It is complete insanity,” she said.
