People are confused after a car was found dangling off a wire below a Canadian bridge Wednesday.

A hollowed out blue Honda Civic with burned-out license plates was found dangling below the Leaside Bridge in Toronto generating massive confusion from people, The Guardian reported. The car was found dangling below the bridge during rush hour traffic with some windows missing. Police first believed the car was a prop for a movie. However, the police later took back the statement after getting informed by city officials that there were no permits for shooting Wednesday.

“I just saw some of the pictures myself and I was mystified as to how the car ended up there,” said John Tory, the mayor of Toronto, The Guardian reported. “You’re always very puzzled as to how a car would have got into that particular situation.”

Police believe the dangling car was part of a prank.

“Obviously someone had intentionally put it up there, because it was tied to a winch system,” Capt. Adrian Ratushniak, of Toronto Fire Services, told CBC News.

Authorities are currently investigating the situation.
