Michael Avenatti, the attorney for adult film star Stormy Daniels, says he isn’t ruling out the possibility of a cable show of his own.

“I’ve been approached by a number of networks who have explored the possibility of me possibly having my own show once the case is resolve,” Avenatti told Vanity Fair Wednesday. He said that he is not seriously considering any of the potential offers, claiming he is “focused on the task at hand.”

But he has appeared nearly five dozen times on CNN alone in the last two months, and sources observed him talking with MSNBC President Phil Griffin at NBC’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner after party.

According to those sources, Avenatti was the one who suggested the possibility of his own show, although he later told Vanity Fair that he did not recall the conversation with Griffin. Griffin reportedly laughed it off.

A television show is not the only possibility floating around either. Bill Maher asked Avenatti during an appearance on HBO’s “Real Time” whether he might consider running for office.

At the time, Avenatti said he’d think about politics if he thought it “made sense” once his current case was handled — and his response to the idea of his own show was similar.

“I’m not seriously entertaining any of those ideas because right now, I’m focused on the task at hand. The interest of me having a career in television is very flattering,” he told Maher. “Who knows, I may consider it, but I’m not going to worry about it or pursue it right now because my main priority is finishing this case.”
