The View’s Joy Behar accused President Trump of using a “big lie” to manipulate the public.
The term “big lie” is associated with Nazi Germany and was used by Adolf Hitler.

The View panel was discussing a recent poll that showed a sudden spike in support for President Trump among black Americans with guest Amanda Carpenter. The panel was generally bashing the poll for supposedly not being reliable enough.
“It was people who opted in,” Carpenter said. “It wasn’t people who were selected randomly, but this is what Trump does. Anything that reflects favorably on him, true or not, hes’ going to hold it up and say, look, I’m winning the black vote. And it’s up to us to have to explain it constantly.”
“You know what that’s called? The big lie,” Behar said. “It’s been used in other dictatorships. You keep lying and lying and lying.”
