Jimmy Kimmel went after First Lady Melania Trump Monday night over the name of her anti-bullying initiative.
‘”Be best’ is the slogan. I think there must be a word missing,” Kimmel said.
“It was either going to be ‘be best’ or ‘do goodest.’ And they went with ‘be best.’ Let’s look at that again. It’s like a space there–is DJ Khaled writing slogans for the White House now?”
At a White House event Monday meant to announce Melania Trump’s effort to end bullying, she said, “There are too many critical issues facing children today so the three main pillars of BE BEST will include well-being, social media use, and opioid abuse, we can and should teach children the important of social and self-awareness, positive relationship skills, and responsible decision making.” (RELATED: Melania Trump Announces ‘BE BEST’ Campaign For Children)
“Melania, your care and compassion for our nation’s children — and I have to say this and I say it to you all the time — inspires us all,” President Trump said at the event. (RELATED: WATCH: Trump Signs Melania Trump’s Anti-Bullying Initiative)
