A military spouse in the audience at a White House event Wednesday handed President Trump a note on his way out.

“When you are strong, your families are strong. And America thrives. Thank you, God bless you. And God bless America. Thank you very much for all you do. Thank you very much,” Trump said, to applause.
He then turned and walked through the crowd with first lady Melania Trump.
Suddenly, a member of the audience of military moms and spouses turned to Trump, shook his hand and gave him a note.
“Your love, resilience and courage uplifts our heroes and indeed our nation,” Trump also said. “We are forever in your debt. I also want to thank all of the spouses here today who are serving in uniform.
