President Donald Trump reportedly spoke to First Lady Melania Trump before her kidney surgery on Monday and will visit her in the hospital later today.

According to NBC, Trump spoke to Melania just before her surgery began, spoke to her doctor afterwards and will visit her at Walter Reed National Medical Center later today.

“This morning, First Lady Melania Trump underwent an embolization procedure to treat a benign kidney condition. The procedure was successful and there were no complications,” a statement from Melania Trump’s office read. “The First Lady looks forward to a full recovery so she can continue her work on behalf of children everywhere.”
