WATCH:

Walker got his first big break in Hollywood when he landed a role in “The Ten Commandments.” He was 6’6″ tall and handsome, which made him the perfect fit for ABC producers who sought him out to play the roaming cowboy character Cheyenne Bodie in “Cheyenne.” The show ran for seven seasons beginning in 1955.

Walker appeared in the only movie ever directed by the legendary Frank Sinatra, “None But the Brave.” He also starred in other films like “More Dead Than Alive,” “The Dirty Dozen” and “The Great Bank Robbery.”

He was a staple in the entertainment business for more than 40 years and worked in the business well into the ’90s. Walker also has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and he survived an accident in which he fell from a ski lift.

He is survived by his wife Susan and daughter Valerie.
