Nearly 100 illegal immigrants were found inside a tractor trailer outside Raymondville, Texas, according to a Tuesday report.

Texas Department of Public Safety officers stopped the 18-wheeler tractor trailer along a highway around 45 miles north of the Mexican border, Fox News reported. When officers pulled over the vehicle, they searched the back of the trailer and found 92 illegal immigrants inside.

Two people inside the trailer had to be taken to the hospital for dehydration after being jammed in the back of the trailer for an extended period of time without water, according to police. Some of the illegal immigrants reportedly tried to climb out of a hole in the top of the trailer in order to escape police, but were unsuccessful.

The driver and a passenger in the cab of the truck were taken into custody by police. Department of Homeland Security – Investigations will likely be in charge of the investigation. (RELATED: Truck Driver Pleads Guilty In Human Smuggling Operation That Cooked Immigrants Alive)

This comes nearly a year after police arrested a 61-year-old truck driver in July after they discovered 39 people in and around his truck, which was parked near a San Antonio Walmart. Ten of the illegal immigrants in the truck died since the air conditioning unit in the trailer was broken.
