Senior White House correspondent Jim Acosta targeted President Donald Trump and Kim Kardashian in his latest sanctimonious rant on CNN Wednesday.

Acosta was unhappy with White House press secretary Sarah Sanders’ attack on the media during Wednesday’s press briefing. Sanders asserted that the media expects an apology from Roseanne Barr for her racist tweets but has never demanded apologies from people who attack the president and his administration. On CNN after the briefing ended, Acosta railed against the president for not apologizing for any of his mean comments.
“Sarah Sanders was very careful to point out and turn it back around on the media and asking why haven’t certain personalities at various networks apologized to the president for things that they’ve said, but of course this is a president who launched his campaign saying that Mexican immigrants are rapists, he has said over the years in talking about African-American athletes, calling them sons of bitches, talking about the violence in Charlottesville saying that there are very fine people on both sides,” Acosta whined.
The reporter also insisted that people are “clamoring” and “begging” for apologies from the president and denounced the “hostility” he hears at Trump’s rallies.
Acosta also bashed Kim Kardashian, who is visiting the White House on Wednesday to talk about prison reform.
“It just gets to the lack of seriousness. Forget about the fact that Kim Kardashian is here at the White House today and what planet that is anything resembling normal — because it’s not,” he asserted. “She shouldn’t be here talking about prison reform. It’s very nice that she is here but that’s not a serious thing to have happen here at the White House.”
