CNN’s Jim Acosta and Sarah Sanders had a tense back-and-forth at Monday’s White House press briefing.

Acosta asked about a recent controversial comments by Rudi Gulliani. Rudy told the Huffington Post that Trump needed to be impeached before legal action can be taken against him. “If he shot James Comey, he’d be impeached the next day,” Rudy said, “Impeach him, and then you can do whatever you want to do to him.”

Acosta asked Sanders about Rudy using the shooting language. “Is that appropriate language coming from the president’s outside lawyer, to be talking about the president shooting Jim Comey in that fashion?” Acosta asked.

Sanders said bluntly, “You would have to ask Rudy Giuliani about his specific comments,” and continued, “Thankfully the president hasn’t done anything wrong, and so we feel comfortable in that.”

Jim attempted to ask a follow up question but Sanders had moved on. Acosta said, “If I could ask a follow-up question…”

“Sorry I’m going to keep going,” she said. “Not today, Jim.”

Acosta kept shouting that other reporters got follow-up questions. “No, they didn’t” Sanders said. Acosta shouted again and again but Sarah moved on to the next question.
