Former Obama adviser Ben Rhodes hilariously struggles to enter a car while wearing a backpack in new footage from an HBO documentary.

WATCH:

Rhodes, who served as the deputy national security adviser under Obama, is profiled in “The Final Year,” a documentary about Barack Obama’s last year in office.

In one scene posted to Twitter, Rhodes can be seen battling his backpack while trying to enter a van. First, the backpack gets snagged on the outside of the van, preventing Rhodes from getting inside.

Rhodes takes off the backpack, only for it to get caught in the seat in front of him. He finally manages to untangle the backpack and finagle it into the back of the van with him.

The scene is almost as hysterical as the one of Rhodes melting down when he discovers that Donald Trump has won the 2016 presidential election over Hillary Clinton. (RELATED: Watch Ben Rhodes Melt Down On Election Night)

“I came outside just to process all this,” Rhodes says after Clinton’s defeat. “I can’t even….ah…uh…I can’t…I mean I, I, I, I can’t, I can’t, I can’t, I can’t put it into words, I don’t know what the words are.”
