Griffin was receiving the “Rainbow Key Award” in Los Angeles when she was asked about Samantha Bee, AP reports.

She responded by saying that she was “putting TBS on notice,” and that she’s starting a social media campaign to support the advertisers who did not pull ads from “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee.” (RELATED: Samantha Bee’s Advertisers Begin To Jump Ship)

Bee went after Ivanka Trump last week, referring to her as a “feckless c**t.”

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders responded by saying, “The language used by Samantha Bee last night is vile and vicious. The collective silence by the left and its media allies is appalling.”

“Her disgusting comments and show are not fit for broadcast, and executives at Time Warner and TBS must demonstrate that such explicit profanity about female members of this administration will not be condoned on its network.” (RELATED: Sarah Sanders Slams Samantha Bee For ‘Vile And Vicious’ Attack On Ivanka)

Bee later apologized, but faced no actual consequence from TBS.
