Rapper Killer Mike is rooting for Bernie Sanders to run for president again in 2020 and thinks he can beat President Donald Trump.
The comments came after TMZ caught up with the 43-year-old rapper Thursday night in Atlanta when they asked him if he thought Sanders should throw his hat in the ring again.
Killer Mike — whose real name is Michael Render — has been a vocal advocate for Vermont senator and even endorsed him during the 2016 election.

“So, Bernie Sanders 2020,” the reporter asked.
“Yep, I want him to. We will see. I hope he does,” the rapper responded. “I want him to do it. I think he’s best.”
The rapper also talked about why he was supporting politicians locally instead of worrying about endorsing Sanders’ son, Levi Sanders, who’s currently running for a New Hampshire House seat in Congress, before bringing the conversation back to Trump.
“We have an opportunity to get a do over,” Killer Mike explained. “You know you don’t get that. You get a chance to date the woman of your life one time. You fuck it up. You never get her again. But sometimes you get a do-over. I think with Sanders we get a do-over in 20 if he runs. I think we should take full advantage of it. And I think he can beat Trump.”
